*The scales measure 3 x 2.5 cm

Known as alchemist, artificer and even wizard, the apothecary concocts potions and poisons for the needy and nefarious alike, taking solace in toiling and tinkering alone.

The Baroque style hanging scales earrings each feature two balancing bowls suspended by chains held in the mouth of a grotesque. Miniature they may be, but they do function perfectly to measure something tiny.
